This workshop comprises one hour theory and at least 3 hours work in the field taking pictures in the field. Detailed notes on aurora forecasting and camera settings for astrophotography using a DSLR or mirrorless camera are provided to all participants plus a handy checklist of equipment to bring.

The workshop also covers light painting techniques used to light foreground objects against the night sky.
